Liquid medium for transporting and storing clinical specimen for mycoplasma and other pathogenic microorganisms detection.

Mycoplasma Transport Broth is a liquid medium for transport and storage of clinical specimen (vaginal and urethral swabs, seminal fluid) to submit to microbial analysis to search for mycoplasma. The special formulation allows the viability and recovery of urogenital mycoplasma, Trichomonas vaginalis, Gardnerella vaginalis, Candida spp and other pathogenic microorganisms.

Tryptone and Soytone constitute a nitrogen source while glucose provides carbon and energy necessary for the growth of microorganisms. Sodium chloride maintains the osmotic balance of the medium while dipotassium phosphate constitutes the buffer system of the medium.  

Each package contains:

20 tubes with 6.5 mL of Mycoplasma Transport Broth;

1 instruction sheet.
